How does cognitive hypnotherapy differ to other hypnotherapy approaches?The approach uses insights and tools from a range of psychological and therapeutic disciplines often combined with hypnosis to help make positive, long lasting changes. My technique that does not require years of talking about the past, reading hypnosis scripts to you or making you feel sleepy. Usually Cognitive Hypnotherapy only needs 3 or 4 sessions in which the foundations for change are effectively put in place. There are no over-the-top, annoyingly motivational speeches or long arduous hours of difficult analysis; Cognitive Hypnotherapy is just an extremely effective way of making positive change. Rather than concentrating on what you don't want, we will concentrate on what you do want. The therapy I offer is not just limited to our sessions together, I will teach you techniques you can do yourself between sessions to benefit your progress. It is a creative and productive process that can make a difference surprisingly quickly. The ability to control emotional responses and create new connections allows new learnings, abilities and potentials to develop.
